I have been a studio potter, community artist and creative facilitator for over 40 years. I produce slip cast, thrown and handbuilt forms using a rich palette of colour, design and mark-making to create tableware and sculptural forms that enliven the daily living and outdoor garden experience.
My one-off sculptural forms are covered in ‘pique assiette’ or recycled broken china mosaic. Many of the decorative, hand painted maiolica glazed works have resulted in a diversity of public art commissions. My prints and ceramics have been collected by a number of Australian public galleries, educational institutions and museums and private collections in the USA, UK and Australia.
I have also worked in tertiary, secondary and primary school educational environments, on community art projects and cultural planning and development in local government.
In 2017 I established a studio and gallery in Maldon, central Victoria, Australia.
