From the East India Company, to Anthropocene.
Utilising visual narrative, textual investigation and historical journeying, I unpack a more realistic understanding of our colonial past.
As Artist and Expeditioner, I travel through words and maps, space and time, exploring ideas and realms, seeking to understand the colonial Invasion of Australia, via Botany Bay.
In doing so, I find very different narratives, than what we were previously told.
This exhibition represents the latest chapter in a fascinating journey towards addressing colonial denialism, instead, looking towards revisionist truth telling.
